Description: Tire carrier mounts are available for the following, depending on year and preference (some kind of roof-rack is required for proper use): 84-01 Cherokee - gutter mount brackets included, 92-01 Cherokee - OEM roof-rack mount brackets included.  The Cherokee above is mounted with the OEM roof-rack brackets.  Tire weight is supported by the tire carrier, and balanced by the OEM roof rack cross bars.  It comes complete with end caps to finish off the tube.  All installation hardware is included, no cutting or drilling is needed to install.  The tube is steel.  The mount rod for the tire has a hole in the end to install a lock.  Length of mounting rod is 9" from tube. Will hold up to a 35" tire. Comes standard in black powdercoat finish.
